Sisters at Sea
On February 16, 2027, all four Lady Ships meet in open water for the first time. Four different sailings lead to the same day. Here is what each one looks like, who it suits and how I would choose.
The short answer
- What: Virgin’s first fleet meetup. Scarlet, Valiant, Resilient and Brilliant Lady meet on February 16, 2027, about 38 nautical miles north of Cuba.
- Four ways in: Scarlet Lady 5 nights from Miami (Feb 15), Valiant Lady 7 nights from San Juan (Feb 13), Resilient Lady 7 nights from Miami (Feb 14) or Brilliant Lady 10 nights from Miami (Feb 8).
- Expect fleetwide deck parties, live entertainment, surprise pop-ups and limited-edition touches. Richard Branson plans to appear on each ship.
- Virgin says cabins are limited, and it is peak Caribbean season. If you want a specific cabin or a suite, decide early.

Which one fits you
Scarlet Lady
Five nights from Miami, and the rendezvous comes on your first full day. The easiest way in if you can only take a long weekend plus a couple of days.
Brilliant Lady
Ten nights, four islands, and Valentine’s Day in San Juan before the meetup. The pick for a big celebration trip.
Valiant Lady
Seven nights round trip from San Juan with Samaná, Grand Turk and Cabo Rojo. Good if San Juan flights work better for you than Miami.
Resilient Lady
Seven nights from Miami, boarding on Valentine’s Day, with Freeport, Progreso and a Bimini beach day to finish.
What happens on Rendezvous Day
Virgin has not published a full schedule yet. Here is what it has announced so far:
- Pool deck celebrations and live entertainment, with all four ships in view.
- A live window into the celebrations happening on the other ships.
- Surprise pop-ups, shared entertainment and limited-edition touches made for the event.
- Richard Branson appearing on each ship during the celebration.
- An early look at what Virgin has planned next, shared with sailors on board.
I will update this page as Virgin releases more details.
My take
Every sailing gets the same Rendezvous Day, so choose the ship for the rest of the trip: the length, the ports and where you want to fly. February is peak season and Virgin is calling cabins limited, so if you have your heart set on a Sea Terrace location or RockStar Quarters, do not wait. I will compare all four sailings for your dates, check which Virgin promotions and perks stack, and plan your flights and hotel so you are not cutting embarkation close in winter weather.

Want me to plan this one with you?
I'm a Top 100 Virgin Voyages First Mate (2024 and 2025). Virgin sets the fare, so the same cabin, fare type and promotion is the same fare with me as on virginvoyages.com, and I charge no planning fee. What you get is a person: I hand-pick your cabin where your fare allows, book Shore Things the day your window opens, watch for upgrades and fare changes, and answer your texts before and during the trip. I also arrange hotels before and after the cruise, private excursions and group plans, and I deal with Virgin for you when a booking or benefit needs sorting out. I take the stress. You take the photos.
