Virgin Voyages cabins & suites
Cabin names and perks are the same on all four Lady Ships, so every photo and 3D tour lives here. Pick a category, look around, then send me what you like and I’ll find the right cabin number on your ship.

What changes by ship
The categories above are the same fleetwide. What changes is where they sit and what’s nearby. Here’s what I check on each ship before I pick your cabin number.

Scarlet Lady
- Seriously Suites, Deck 11. Only on Scarlet. If you want a suite with a big terrace and you’re flexible on decks, ask me to compare these against the suites forward and aft.
- Limited View Sea Terraces, Deck 8. The terraces near the lifeboats on Deck 8 have a partial view but the classic red hammock. They’re often the best value balcony on the ship.
- Quiet picks. Mid-ship on Decks 9 and 10 is the sweet spot. Skip the stretch of Deck 8 right over The Manor if you go to bed early.

Valiant Lady
- Central Sea Terraces, Deck 11. Where Scarlet has Seriously Suites, Valiant has regular balcony cabins. That makes Deck 11 a great high-up, mid-ship balcony pick.
- Limited View Sea Terraces, Deck 8. Virgin’s printed plan labels some of these Smaller Balconies, but on Valiant they’re Limited View terraces with the red hammock. The deck plan shows them correctly.
- Near the new On the Rocks. The bigger On the Rocks has more live music. If you’re a light sleeper, check what’s below you on Deck 8 before you book.

Resilient Lady
- Central Sea Terraces, Deck 11. Regular balcony cabins where Scarlet has suites. A great high-up, mid-ship balcony pick.
- Limited View Sea Terraces, Deck 8. Virgin’s printed plan calls some of these Smaller Balconies, but on Resilient they’re Limited View terraces with the red hammock.
- Show nights and noise. With Lola’s Library and Another Rose in The Manor, it runs late here. Avoid the cabins right above it on Deck 8 if you’re a light sleeper.

Brilliant Lady
- (Slightly) Smaller Balcony, Deck 8. Only on Brilliant. You trade a little terrace space for a lower fare and two hammock chairs. Great value if you’re out of the room all day.
- Central Sea Terraces, Deck 11. Regular balcony cabins where Scarlet has suites, high up and mid-ship.
- Alaska tip. On Alaska sailings, a balcony earns its keep on glacier days. Mid-ship and a little higher up is what you’ll be glad you booked.
Perks, fares and upgrade bids
RockStar and Mega RockStar perks are the same on every ship. My full breakdown, plus how I’ve won suite upgrades by bidding, is on one page.
Virgin Voyages cabin FAQ
Are Virgin Voyages cabins the same on every ship?
The cabin categories, names and perks are the same on all four Lady Ships. Layouts and placement vary: Scarlet Lady has 24 Seriously Suites on Deck 11, where Valiant, Resilient and Brilliant have regular Sea Terrace cabins instead, and Brilliant has (Slightly) Smaller Balcony cabins on Deck 8 that the others don't.
How many RockStar suites does each ship have?
Scarlet Lady has 102 RockStar Quarters, the most in the fleet. Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady each have 78.
Are the 3D tours accurate?
They're Virgin Voyages' own 3D tours, and Virgin notes the renderings are illustrative and layouts vary by ship. Use them to get a feel for the space, then check your exact cabin on the deck plan.
Can you pick my exact cabin?
Yes. Tell me the category you like and I'll find a specific cabin on your sailing, usually midship and away from elevators and late-night venues, and check its terrace and hammock before you book. There's no planning fee.
Found the one?
Send me your dates, or book through my First Mate link. As a Virgin Voyages Top 100 First Mate, I’ll find that cabin on your sailing, compare it against the one next door and make sure your perks land where they should.
