Virgin Voyages FAQ
Do you pay more to book Virgin Voyages with a travel agent?
No. You pay the same Virgin Voyages fare you would see on their website. The difference is that you get a Top 100 First Mate handling your cabin, dining, Shore Things and any problems, plus Sailor Loot on eligible bookings.
Do you offer Sailor Loot when I book with you?
Yes. Eligible Virgin Voyages bookings made with me receive Sailor Loot, on top of any promotion Virgin is running at the time. Through Virtuoso it is $50 per cabin on 4 to 5 night voyages, $100 on 6 to 8 nights and $200 on 9 or more nights, for eligible bookings made at least 121 days before sailing. I already booked on the Virgin website. Can I move it to you?
Usually, yes. Virgin will transfer a reservation to a travel agent within 30 days of when it was made, as long as it isn't paid in full. Send me your booking number and sail date and I'll handle the request.
What is included in a Virgin Voyages fare?
Every restaurant onboard (more than 20), essential drinks like water, soda, drip coffee and tea, group fitness classes, entertainment and Wi-Fi. Alcohol, spa treatments, Shore Things and faster Wi-Fi tiers are extra.
Which fare should I pick: Base, Essential or Premium?
It depends on how much flexibility you need, how early you want dining reservations and how much you'll be online. Base is the entry-level fare but the least flexible. Essential and Premium add earlier dining windows and faster Wi-Fi, and Premium adds a Bar Tab. Tell me how you travel and I'll tell you which one actually works out better for you.
Are tips included on Virgin Voyages?
For bookings made on or after October 7, 2025, gratuities show up as a separate line item. You can prepay them or pay onboard. Once that's covered, there's no tipping expected anywhere on the ship.
Can you move my cabin or put my group's rooms together?
Yes. Virgin auto-assigns cabins when you book online. I can request specific locations, quieter decks, or connecting Sea Terraces so your group can open the balcony dividers.
