LGBTQ+ Travel

Travel should feel like a yes.

Not a maybe. Not a question mark. Not a guessing game about whether a destination, hotel, cruise, or experience will actually feel right once you get there.

For LGBTQ+ travelers, feeling welcome matters. So does knowing that the hotel, cruise line, tour operator, or destination you are choosing understands the difference between simply accepting LGBTQ+ travelers and genuinely creating an environment where you can relax and be yourself.

As an LGBTQ+ traveler, I bring that perspective into the way I plan.

I pay attention to the places I recommend, the partners I work with, and the experiences I put in front of my clients. That includes everything from destination safety and local attitudes to the culture of a hotel, cruise line, or tour operator.

Sometimes that means choosing an experience created specifically for the LGBTQ+ community. Other times, it simply means knowing which places do a particularly good job of making everyone feel welcome.

My experience in LGBTQ+ travel includes working with brands such as VACAYA, Atlantis Events, and Virgin Voyages, along with membership in IGLTA and recognition as a Top 100 Virgin Voyages First Mate.

Whether you are planning a honeymoon, a cruise with friends, a milestone birthday, a romantic escape, or simply your next really great vacation, my goal is not to put you into an “LGBTQ+ trip.”

It is to plan your trip, with an understanding of the things that may matter to you along the way.

You should be able to spend less time wondering how you will be received and more time enjoying where you are.

If that sounds like the kind of travel planning you have been looking for, you are in the right place.
