At Ease in the adriatic:
A Private Yacht Journey Along Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast
Privately chartered. Distinctly Croatian.
Croatia, at our own pace.
For seven nights, the entire yacht will be reserved for our group as we travel from Šibenik to Dubrovnik through the islands, hidden coves and waterfront towns of Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast. With fewer than 40 guests onboard, the experience will feel private, relaxed and personal from the moment we arrive. The yacht will be our home throughout the journey, with comfortable ensuite cabins, inviting dining and lounge spaces, expansive sun decks, a hot tub and direct access to the Adriatic from the swim platform. There will be plenty of space to gather with the group, enjoy the view or find a quiet place to relax. Most mornings will begin with breakfast onboard as we cruise toward the day’s destination. Along the way, we’ll stop in clear, secluded coves for swimming and time on the water, followed by leisurely multicourse lunches prepared onboard. Rather than arriving with thousands of other passengers for only a few hours, we’ll reach many of our destinations in the afternoon and remain into the evening or overnight. That gives us time to wander through historic streets, enjoy dinner along the waterfront, experience the local nightlife and see each town after the daytime crowds begin to leave. The result is a week that balances the comfort and service of a private yacht with the freedom to experience Croatia beyond the shoreline. Each day will bring a different combination of cruising, swimming, dining and exploring, with the Adriatic always at the center of the journey.
What Sets This Experience Apart?A closer connection to Croatia
Rooted in the Adriatic
Lastavica Cruising is owned and operated by the Stančić family, whose experience with tourism on the Adriatic spans more than 50 years. What began with local day cruises has grown into a family-run fleet known for personal service, thoughtful hospitality and a deep connection to Dalmatia.
Over the years, the family has developed friendships with local winemakers, artisans, cheesemakers and food producers. Those relationships are reflected throughout the experience, giving us a more genuine introduction to Croatia than we would receive from an international cruise line simply calling at its ports.
An itinerary created for us
Traditional cruise itineraries are designed to be repeated week after week, often limiting guests to a few scheduled hours in each destination. A private charter gives us considerably more freedom to shape the journey around our group.
Our route can combine historic cities, smaller waterfront towns, secluded swimming coves and destinations with lively evenings. We can plan late departures and overnight stays where additional time matters, while adjusting the daily rhythm around sightseeing, meals and activities. The final itinerary will be developed with the captain and local team, with safety, weather and port conditions always guiding the journey.
cuisine worth slowing down for
Meals onboard are an important part of the experience, not simply something included in the fare. Lastavica Cruising’s culinary team received the 2025 Travel Weekly Gold Magellan Award for Best Cuisine, recognizing its commitment to Croatian flavors, quality ingredients and thoughtfully prepared menus.
Our week will include daily breakfast, six multicourse lunches and a Captain’s Dinner. Meals can also be coordinated with our itinerary, allowing us to enjoy lunch onboard most days while leaving our evenings open to discover restaurants ashore.
Thoughtfully Designed for Life at Sea
Custom-built in Croatia, Lastavica and Swallow were developed by naval designers under the Stančić family’s close supervision, incorporating Captain Igor Stančić’s ideas and decades of experience on the Adriatic.
The yachts feature a spacious outdoor dining area, comfortable lounges, expansive sun decks, a hot tub, sauna, swim platform, water slide, water toys, and movie nights under the stars.
Each vessel accommodates up to 36 guests in 18 comfortable, tastefully decorated cabins located across the main and lower decks. Most cabins can be arranged with either one double bed or two twin beds, providing flexibility for couples, friends, and solo travelers.
Cabins range from approximately 130 to 187 square feet and include a private bathroom, individually controlled air conditioning, soundproofing, television, writing desk, safe, hair dryer, wardrobe, and under-bed luggage storage.
Photos, video, and amenities shown represent Lastavica and Swallow. Final vessel assignment and cabin selection remain subject to written charter confirmation.
