Valiant Lady
Valiant came out of dry dock in May 2026 with a bigger On the Rocks, a more open Roundabout, a single-level Manor and a glassed-in Athletic Club. She’s also the only ship with Ariya, Virgin’s modern Indian restaurant, and the brand-new Sun Society pool party.
What’s different on Valiant Lady
The four Lady Ships share the same bones, but the restaurants, shows, cabins and even the Italian menu change from ship to ship. Here’s what you only get on Valiant.
The May 2026 glow-up
On the Rocks lost its curved wall and got wider, the Roundabout follows Brilliant’s open design in Valiant’s plum, The Manor is now one level, and the Athletic Club traded metal for clear glass and sea-facing daybeds.
Ariya by Razzle Dazzle
A modern Indian restaurant from Chef Maneet Chauhan’s Indie Culinaire, named for Sir Richard Branson’s great-great-grandmother. It’s only on Valiant.
Sun Society
A new 90-minute, mid-century Hollywood pool party at the Aquatic Club on select sea days, starting with the Caribbean sailings on October 19, 2026.
Valiant-only shows
It’s a Ship Show!, Around the World with The Diva, The Magnets and UNTITLED DANCESHOWPARTYTHING are only on Valiant.
Valiant’s glow-up, space by space
Valiant spent May 2026 in dry dock in Palermo and came back with several spaces redesigned to match Brilliant Lady. Tap any one to see it on the deck plan.

On the Rocks
Bigger, with the curved wall removed and the stage moved. More seats and better sightlines for live music.

The Roundabout
Opened up to follow Brilliant’s design, with lounge seating in Valiant’s signature plum.

The Athletic Club
The metal section is gone. Clear glass, open ocean views and sea-facing daybeds.

The Manor
Now a single level, with more dance floor and better sightlines.

Aquatic Club
New pool steps, railings and a reworked seating layout.

Grounds Club Too
A lounge-style coffee and evening bar inside The Galley.
Photos show the fleet design; Virgin hasn’t released full post-refit photos of every space yet.

Sun Society at the Aquatic Club
A 90-minute, adults-only pool party on select sea days, styled like a mid-century Hollywood retreat. It starts slow and sunny and builds to a full-on party by the end, hosted by the Happenings Cast.
It runs on Valiant’s Caribbean sailings, weather permitting. Check your Sailor App the first night for the day and time.

Cabins that are different on Valiant
Same cabin names across the fleet, but not the same layouts. Use the deck plan below to check what’s above and below any cabin, then send me the number.
Central Sea Terraces, Deck 11
Where Scarlet has Seriously Suites, Valiant has regular balcony cabins. That makes Deck 11 a great high-up, mid-ship balcony pick.
Limited View Sea Terraces, Deck 8
Virgin’s printed plan labels some of these Smaller Balconies, but on Valiant they’re Limited View terraces with the red hammock. The deck plan below shows them correctly.
Near the new On the Rocks
The bigger On the Rocks has more live music. If you’re a light sleeper, check what’s below you on Deck 8 before you book.
78 RockStar suites on Valiant
That’s 24 fewer than Scarlet, so the suite you want can sell out sooner. Tell me early and I’ll also watch for upgrade bids. Perks, fares and my upgrade-bid playbook are the same on every ship, so they live on one page.
Tour every cabin and suite
Cabin categories are the same on every Lady Ship, so all the photos and Virgin’s 3D tours, from Insider cabins to the Massive Suite, live on one page. Then use the Valiant deck plan below to pick your spot.
Explore Valiant Lady, deck by deck
Tap any cabin for its category, beds and what’s above and below. Tap a venue for photos and notes, or use the finder to filter for egg chairs, glass railings, quiet picks and more. Compare all four ships

Deck plans redrawn by At Ease Travel Co. from Virgin Voyages' official First Mate deck plans for each ship (Scarlet, Resilient and Brilliant Lady updated 01/25/2026; Valiant Lady updated 05/12/2026). Layouts can change during dry docks, so I'll confirm the exact cabin and category on your ship before you book. Railing and egg chair details come from Virgin Voyages' First Mate terrace guide. Noise notes are based on what's above, below and beside each cabin plus sailor reports, and they're a guide, not a guarantee. Venue photos are from Virgin Voyages' First Mate media library. Menus link to Virgin's own dining pages because they change often. Cabin availability isn't shown here; it changes by the minute, so ask me or check the booking link.
My Valiant tips
I sail Virgin myself and book it every week. These are the things I tell my clients before they board Valiant.
- It’s a Ship Show! is a free supper club with dinner. Book it in the Sailor App early; seats are limited.
- Book Ariya dinner for one night and come back for brunch. They’re two different menus.
- Sun Society runs on select sea days only. Check the app the first night and plan your pool day around it.
